Loud From The Underground

Aesop spent his early career building momentum in the underground hip hop and alternative rap scenes. His self-distributed Music For Earworms and Appleseed EP brought him label attention. Over his career, Aesop Rock has made a name for himself and his wordy rhymes.

In 2016, after a year of living and recording in a barn, Aesop released The Impossible Kid. At the age of 40, Aesop lays his lines rapidly as he speculates about his failed artistic aspirations, the underground rap scene, and his cat. Deeply personal, deeply poetic.

Thanks, TyRawr.
