Membrance of A Heartthrob

Remembered and revered for the legendary talents of Johnny Marr's guitar and Morrissey's words, The Smiths have been hailed by many as one of the most influential bands of all time. Their words wailed sorrowful, subversive tales filled with wit and humor; their riffs provided powerful pop hooks with a space-age jangle; their brand of indie rock/pop sounded and looked dissimilar to much else played during or before their time yet managed to connect with a countless many.

The Queen Is Dead of 1986 marked the British band's third album, and critics consider it their most complete composition. Featuring many of The Smiths' most excellent tracks, the album flows as Morrissey sings with remorse, cheekiness, and fateful romanticism consistently propelled by Marr's genius.
