Kenneth Pattengale & Joey Ryan have become recognized as one powerful flat-picking, harmonizing voice expanding the tradition of folk and americana. The duo released Retrospect as they were assuming The Milk Carton Kids moniker and have since been refining their sound. Their recent, Grammy-nominated work has a more and more overwhelmingly understated and bittersweet sound that's less immediately appreciated, but no less examplary of virtuoso musicianship and thoughtful songwriting.

TMCK' shows feature a healthy amount of deadpan banter, as seen in the Appetizer. The extra character and light humor makes their performances particularly personal. The show above features songs from Retrospect as well as their albums Prologue and The Ash & Clay. Their newest album, Monterey, was released this past May.
